Stem-to-Stern remodel, Presidio Heights, San Francsico

The house lacked a garage, had a steep entry stair far from the front door, and presented a very flat, cold, uninviting front facade.  We added a two-car garage with a south facing sun deck above, accessible from the new family room. Hand made brick from South Carolina, projecting balconies, bollection moldings, and a completely new entry stair sequence enlivened the ensemble.
