Gary Rulli’s fine Italian bakery started in Larkspur, expanded to San Francsico, and was invited by San Francisco Airport directors to open two kiosks in the new International Terminal food courts. Within the very tight leased premises, shaped in plan like a teardrop, we created a high-design kiosk borrowing from the aeronautic design vocabulary. Gary was trained in Italy and has brought the art of Italian pastries and delicacies to the Bay Area as high art.
